PROFILE

The Imaginox Academy of Creative Arts, was set up in 2009, in order to deliver not only online education to a global community but also, to connect groups and individuals across the industry, facilitating a true cross-fertilisation of talent and creativity. Imaginox’s ambitions include creating an online arena, where films and projects can be developed in collaborative networks as well as to develop a global mentorship, recruitment and distribution platform.

We are, in essence, an interactive online film training, development and networking platform, bringing you directly into contact with the Industry’s finest talent. We have a broad diversity of Industry experts, from Blockbusters, such as, Harry Potter, Trainspotting, Twilight, Atonement and Billy Elliot through to Independent Films, like London to Brighton and Cherry Tree Lane. From Directors and Producers through to Cinematographers and Editors, Imaginox will be a growing Film Library to envy and an essential Community to be part of!!

MEET THE TEAM


ARJUN CHATTERJI - CEO

Arjun ChatterjiSince leaving Edinburgh University with an MA in Chinese, Arjun joined the internationally renowned advertising agency, St. Luke's. Having learnt how to quickly 'think on his feet', he was inspired to adopt a strategy of personal creative risk-taking, bringing him to the realisation that ultimately, he wanted to head up his own business independently. He trained at New York Film Academy receiving a diploma in Advanced Filmmaking and later, worked as Creative Assistant to Ashvin Kumar on his feature 'The Forest'.

He received a NFTS/NESTA Incubation grant in 2008 following a pitch to bring quality film education to a global audience, online. And the rest, as they say, is history. His passion and determination to pursue his business vision is focussed on ensuring that Imaginox connects with both the finest talent and the most innovative events, plus delivers the latest technology to create a truly revolutionary platform.

KUMI VIS - NEW BUSINESS, PR AND MARKETING MANAGER

Kumi VisKumi's role crosses over several aspects of Imaginox, from closely working with tutors, managing marketing communication and publicity. Within this bracket, she is responsible for working alongside established partners and creating new relationships with brands and organisations. She is also your Online Community Manager - so most likely to be your first point of contact on the platform - keeping her a busy Imaginox bee!

An experienced marketing and PR manager with chic creative panache, Kumi has worked with international fashion brands and Pr agencies prior to stepping into the world of film, which has always been a passion. With Imaginox, she has been integral in establishing some of the primary building blocks of the company.

ADAM CLEMENTS - VIDEO EDITOR, WEBMASTER AND TECHNICAL GURU
 

Adam Clements

Adam started in filmmaking as a runner (meeting Imaginox CEO Arjun on his first ever short film job!) and then, after completing his training at the Brighton Film School, quickly progressed into post-production as an editor and animator. Continuing to work on projects as diverse as music videos, cinema commercials, web ads and a feature film, enabled Adam to sharpen his skills further, making him a quick and agile editor. He now works at Imaginox where he is the indispensible 'go-to guy' for all things technical, and he has 3 nicknames depending on what mood he's in!

BECKY BAZZARD - MARKETING AND PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
 

Becky BazzardBecky's impressive career in film spans 15 years. In addition to being part of the Imaginox team, she is a board member of Diversity in Visual Arts (DiVA) and a Project Executive on Skillset-funded programmes, 'Marketing Movies Online' and 'The Graduate Fellowship Programme'. In 2010, Becky launched 'Trailermade', an initiative to fast-track promising feature film teams, resulting in a showcase and pitch event in the UK Film Centre, Cannes. At the New Producers Alliance, as Events and Communications Manager, she ran national and international film training events. 

She produced the feature 'Captain Eager and the Mark of Voth', released theatrically and distributed by ICA Films. Her award-winning short dramas have been selected for a wide range of international festivals, including Times BFI London, Sydney International, AFM and Raindance festivals, to name but a few.
