This exclusive interactive editing course, aimed at new entrants and industry professionals alike, is taught by some of the world’s leading practitioners in Editing, Sound Design and Composition and combines over 50 hours of pre-recorded video content with live and engaging sessions online. You will not only have the chance, within this sophisticated Virtual Learning Environment, to meet these renowned academics and editors, such as Mick Audsley (Editor of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Dirty Pretty Things and Dangerous Liaisons) and Roger Crittenden (Former Head of Fulltime Programme at NFTS) but will also have the chance to be assessed and marked on several key exercises, based around a short film that has been specifically shot for individual tutorials.
This 4-week course blends the Art and Craft of Editing together with the theoretical, practical and technical aspects of becoming a world-class editor and will culminate with students uploading and showcasing their finished films in a live screening and discussion group, held in front of an industry panel, including recruitment agencies and production companies.

This comprehensive course contains five different live sessions and five separate marked assignments, which will be based around a film that we have designed, written and shot entirely for this Creative Programme. In fact, Mick Audsley has written this script! He will definitely tell you more about the relationship between script and editing later in the course.
Therefore, not only will you be able to download the rushes from the Imaginox platform, you will also be able to upload, showcase and promote the film or specific scenes from the film in live sessions with Mick and other high profile mentors providing feedback to you.
The course will culminate with a live presentation in front of a distinguished panel of executives and recruitment agents from the industry.
